Well, it seems like this took forever to get accomplished but it is finally done I have moved in!

Here's some pictures of the building in progress and my completed studio.
This is the first true leg of our remodel project. The original building when we bought the place was a 3 sided lumber storage area. Three walls and a roof, open on one side. We enclosed it temporally for a storage room. Here in this photo, the are putting on an addition to the old original building.
Ahhh! Much better, starting to really look like something now. With the addition built it brought the size of the building to 400 square feet.

(That's my Border Collie in the foreground wanting someone to PLEASE kick the soccer ball for her!)
When we started the project we really did it in two separate fazes as we could afford it. Finished the newest side first, since the other side was still full of junk. This is the "drywall in progress" on the old side of the building.
This picture is of the same are in the above photo. This is my bead area. I have both my kilns set up on the table. The exhaust fan didn't have the final extension on it when this photo was taken. The exhaust is a 500 cfm fan, on the opposite wall, (not in photo) is where my fresh air intake fan is located.
Here's a wider angle view of the room. The long table in the foreground is my glass cutting area for my fused and stained glass work. Also works as a general craft table.
I have both heat and air conditioning in the shop too. Sure will make it nice year around!
This is the view of the "new addition" part of the building. This is where I do my metal/jewelry work and where my husband and son do there Knapping. (arrowheads, knives and points) Also it's the Lapidary area. The machine in the back corner is one of our rock machines. It has a trim saw on it as well as different grit grinding wheels and a buffer pad on the end. All of our rock saws are located outside under a tent. They are just too noisy to run inside and also they put a fine mist of oil in the air when running. Not a good combination when your working with glass and metals!
Here again is a wide angle view of the same area, but also show the other half of the room. The long shelves are 7' long....and I have them full all ready. ~sigh~ Going to still have to build another glass storage area. I still have boxes of glass still to unpack!

In the back I have my desk and computer set up. Also on the long left wall that isn't shown in this photo, is where my TV/VCR and DVD player are. Makes it really handy for working along with how-to videos.

I hope you enjoyed this mini tour of my studio. Start looking for me on eBay in the near future!
